Group Therapy
Connection. Compassion. Collective Healing.
Group therapy at Dandelion Root offers a supportive space to heal alongside others who understand. Our clinician-led groups are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in harm reduction—not shame or rigid rules.
You’ll gain practical coping skills, meaningful connection, and the opportunity to grow in community, at your own pace.
Roots in Recovery — Harm Reduction & Healing Circle
A supportive community for adults exploring their relationship with substances — without shame, pressure, or judgment.
Roots in Recovery is a harm-reduction–based therapy group designed for adults navigating any substance use pattern, at any stage of change. Whether you’re sober-curious, cutting back, maintaining recovery, or simply trying to better understand your habits, this group offers a safe and culturally attuned space to heal.
This group is for you if you:
Want support around alcohol, cannabis, or other substance use
Feel disconnected from traditional abstinence-only spaces
Are curious about reducing use, shifting habits, or understanding patterns
Hold identities (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, first-gen) where stigma or cultural pressure complicate the conversation
Want community, accountability, and skills — not shame
What we explore together:
Harm reduction tools
Emotional triggers + cravings
Shame, stress, and identity-based pressures
Nervous-system regulation and grounding
Creating a relationship to substances that aligns with your values
Building support + community with others who “get it”
